Almost time!

Well, just a few more days til we hit the road (or should I say air) to Honduras! I can't believe that it is almost here! Since the last update, we moved back to San Antonio and have been staying with my family and will be here until we leave on saturday. We already miss Jackson and all of our "family" there. I am so thankful to have such an awesome home in Jackson and so many brothers and sisters in the faith who love the Lord and spur me on to follow Him more passionately (THANK YOU!). It was a tough farewell, but only a farewell for now.

I am grateful that we have this time to spend with both of our families and our close friends here in San Antonio. The past week and a half have been filled with unpacking, organizing, de-cluttering, working, planning, making lists, packing, catching up with people, and having some fun too. Last weekend we got to ride 4 wheelers with our good friend, Abe. I was a little unsure about it at first, but we ended up having a blast (even though we got a flat tire... oops)

This is a picture of Abe and Jonathan (I road with Jonathan. Wasn't brave enough to drive it yet)

I am finding that packing for 4 months with a very limited amount of space is pretty tricky! I still havn't quite figured it out yet, but I did invest in some space bags that are coming in handy. I will admit that I was a little skeptical at first, but these things really work! Can you believe that in the bottom bag I was able to fit: 2 pillows, sheets, mattress protector, and comforter! And in the top bag we have 2 good size blankets. I am impressed!

Thank you for following us and praying for us! We REALLY appreciate it! We will update again soon

Bendiciones!

A few prayer requests:
  1. Safe travels. We have a few layovers, one of them being overnight.
  2. That our luggage would arrive when we do :)
  3. That the tropical storm wouldn't hinder our travels.
  4. Continued financial provision.
  5. Deeper unity between Jonathan and I, and between us and our coworkers in Honduras.
  6. Quick adaption to the culture and language.
  7. Healthy immune systems.
  8. The LORDs vision and insight. Eyes to see and ears to hear what the Spirit is saying.
